Would travel to Bali with your Toddler?

My in-laws want my husband and I to go to Bali with them and bring our son (who be 23 months at the time). We’d probably only be there for a week or so. I hate the thought of flying that far with a Toddler. And I have no clue what Bali is like. My husband and I looked at flights and minimum it would be a 24 hour trip. Would you go? (and on a side note, we’ve found previous short trips with his parents very stressful).

    Bali is an amazing place and caters for all age groups. Obviously you would not want to take a toddler to a nightclub but most of the hotels are well set up for a toddler and have shallow pools for them to swim and play in.

    Bali is very spread out and some of the hotels are in isolated places where you will get privacy but they have a free mini bus service to the towns for shopping.

    Your greatest challenge is the flight of 24 hours, I don’t envy you with a toddler.

    Bali is a great place to visit for a holiday and the weather is generally hot depending on the time of the year. You may experience some storms in the evening.

    There has been some doubt about the safety of travelling to Bali since the execution of the Bali bombers. The majority of people in Bali were glad to see the end of the bombers as they had very little support from the general population other than some radicals. You should be very careful in nightclubs as there may be some retaliation from the supporters of the bombers.

    Generally Bali is a great place to visit and you will enjoy your stay.

    well sure.. bali is awesome.. but the flight may be a little hard to handle.. how much do u wanna go?

    really it depends on how you think your toddler could handle that long of a flight.
    my parents took me to bali when i was 4 (not a toddler but pretty close) and i had SO much fun, it was really incredible. something really cool for little kids is riding an elephant through the rain forest (type thing) so i’d look into that too.
    overall it’s up to you but it’s definitely do-able.

    Actually Bali is a nice place to stay and holiday, not only for adult, but for toddler too. Many hotels in Bali that could facilitate your toddler. I suggest you to stay in hotels in Sanur area, Nusa Dua area, or Ubud area. This places are not too crowded (quiet area) that makes your toddler comfortable. For travel by plane, I suggest you not to travel derectly to Bali, better you get transit flight, you’ll fell more comfortable with your toddler. Hope I could help.
