Identify this marine crab.?

I need help identifying a certain (crab?) I found while scuba diving in the south pacific. I found it in about 30ft near the USAT Liberty shipwreck off the east coast of Bali.

Sea Spider

if you look closely… it is missing two legs.

Not enough legs for a crab. Perhaps a starfish?

I would call your local aquarium–you might try the Monterey Bay Aquarium in Monterey, CA.

This looks like a sea spider to me, phylum Pycnogonida. I would check with a Marine Biology professor, check out La Jolla, Santa Cruz, or Oregon State University, they both have good oceanography programs.

Looks like a sea spider, also known as a pycnogonid.
